Amazing.
Upgraded my ghd original after they gave up 5 years old to ghd platinum all i can say it wow! Absolutely amazing, i thought the originals was good but these are something else go over one piece of hair and its straight and stays straight. I have beautyworks hair extentions and the platinum+ are so much nicer on the hair, If your are thinking about ordering these. DO IT xo

Incredible!!!
I treated myself to these a few weeks ago after buying cheap ones that only lasted a couple years, let me tell you these were worth every penny spent! When they say the hair is straight in just one pass they mean it! First use I straightened by whole head in 4 minutes! Curling took me 12 minutes! The style lasted all day with no touch ups needed! I’m very happy with my purchase, fingers crossed they last years to come.

Lovely product, look stylish and great at styling. Disappointed with price, consider them to be very expensive, even with 20% discount and very disappointed that a heat bag is not included in the price, particularly given the product has lots of warnings about the hazards. I’m now using my old heat bag, which feels like a bit of a downgrade for my lovely new straighteners

GHD Platinum
I bought these to replace a set of GHDs i’d had for years. Whilst they look nicer and glide through my hair they don’t appear to get as hot as the previous set, so I have to pull the straighteners through my hair more times to get the same effect as before. When using the straighteners to create waves they don’t drag like my older ones they glide, however the waves drop out very quickly. I’m quite disappointed with the GHDs.

Good, but too hot to curl my hair
I have long, thick, undyed, straight hair and they are really good for straightening, leaves hair soft. But the temperature seems quite hot. Specially when I’m trying to put curls in my hair, you can see the heat. Need a lot of heat protection. Wouldn’t be able to use them all the time as worried about the condition of my hair.

Great, love it but the plug sucks
The actual Straightener has been amazing and I love it but for the UK, you made the plugs awkward and it is so hard to pull the plug out of the wall. If I change the plug do I lose my warranty? For fire safety, I prefer unplugging my Straightener after using it but quite annoyed with having to struggling eat time to get the plug out the wall.

New lower temperature.
Great. My old ones are 20 years old. Now my hair is grey the temperature of 230 is too high. The new ones are much lower temperature. Nice feel to the outside, new on off button and they heat up quickly. They last such a long time that I was sad to pack my old ones away. But, I feel my hair was suffering with the high heat. A good purchase.
