Disappointing
To be honest l’m a little bit disappointed with the wand. Easy to use and heats up well but I’m not over keen on the fact that you have to hold your hair when wound around to get a curl. Would have preferred a wand with the parallel clip type thing that holds hair in place on many. Other than that, the heat is very good but I’ve burnt my finger tips a couple of times.

Quick styling that really lasts
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] True to GHD form, this tool come sin very sleek packaging that feels expensive and luxurious. The curled itself heats up in seconds, even faster than my OG GHD straighteners. it has one temperature, which is regulated but feels quite hot. The barrel is super smooth and sleek and not round (more of a flatter barrel), which actually makes for better volume at the top and front edges of my hair.
I wear extensions, so I would have preferred the barrel to be a little longer to cater a little better for long hair (22 inches). However, I was able to curl my whole head in about 10 minutes and the curl shape and style is absolutely beautiful. I pin my curls to let them cool and then take them out, using this method the curls lasted all night and the next day without any additional post styling product added. My hair felt shiny and smooth and not fried at all.
I highly recommend this if you want a high quality product that is very quick and easy to use that produces beautiful, long lasting results.

Effortless easy curls.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wand is unbelievable. I am 50 and still utterly useless at styling my fine coloured hair. Until now that is..... i have tried and failed to create curls of any type until i tried the conical wand. Oh my goodness first time using and i got a curl!
The shape of the curls is stunning and the wand is so easy to use. Your hair just floats around the wand and GHD magic happens and beautiful curls appear! So much prettier natural curls than rounded barrel wands. You actually can't go wrong with this wand. I love that you dont have to fuss about how you wrap the hair over or under and there is no worrying about temperature, GHD Technology is there and it just happens and your hair looks amazing.
The conical shape means you dont have to worry about how to hold the wand for styling. I also used with and without the glove and because of the shape which makes curling effortless and the temperature is consistent i didn't touch the barrel by accident so was happy using and no fear of damage or injury!! The quality is amazing it is not heavy and feels great to hold. You know this is a great product from picking it up. It is substantial but not huge and so easy to manoeuvre.
It was so quick to use i was surprised i even created tousled waves on my shoulder length bob for everyday wear without lots of sectioning and fuss.
To sum up i never thought i would be able to use a wand never mind be able to use it on a regular basis to create textured waves for everyday. I loved the stand which kept the wand which is solid from falling over in between use. Also the cord is a perfect length and no battling with it to get in the right position and use it.
Perfect on short or long hair. I have recently cut my hair to a bob and it worked brilliant. I also tried it on my friends long hair and again perfect. There is nothing this wand cant do.
Thank you GHD. A game changer product for a novice. I never thought i would be able to create curls but i can !!!

Beach waves that actually last (almost all day!)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have long, thin hair and usually curls fall flat by lunch — but this curling wand seriously impressed me. I use it in the mornings before work (usually in a rush), and the curls hold up for most of the day!
The 28-23mm size is perfect for that beachy wave look — it gives looser curls at the top and more definition at the ends, which I love for my length. I also noticed way less frizz than usual, even after being outside. It didn’t quite hit the 24-hour hold for me, but I blame my hair, not the wand; also, I’m not using any extra styling products..
Overall, this one’s definitely earned a permanent spot in my morning routine! It’s quick, easy, and does the job way better than other wands I’ve tried.
