Great alternative to straighteners
I bought this after reading the reviews that this was a great alternative to using straighteners and I agree. It works well on my hair and takes the frizz out of it. It is a bit more gentle on the hair than using straighteners and works well styling my "bed hair" on days that I haven;t just washed, dried and styled it.

Good hot brush but not the sleek look I need
I was very excited to try this hot brush, reviews looked good and I'm always looking for a simpler solution to straighten my long, thick and curly Indian hair. Time to heat up and use was minimal, weight of brush feels a little heavier than a paddle brush. I have difficult hair that takes on average an hour to dry and straighten, but once it is done, I typically don't need to style it again using heat. Whilst the hot brush was good on the lengths, it was tricky to get the roots as flat/smooth as I usually can achieve with a straightener. The hair was straightened in a very short amount of time with the ghd glide but it was more fluffy straight rather than the sleek and shiny straight look I prefer. The next day I needed to restyle my hair with the ghd glide as the straightened effect didn't last as long, whereas normally I don't need to do this until my next wash. Whilst I understand this tool is not for poker straight hair, the results did not last as hoped for my type of hair. Overall, in terms of time and ease of use, it was very good. Its straightening power is good but maybe results are better if hair is not as thick or curly as mine. I would recommend in general if you have more manageable hair but this wasn't the tool for me! I do still love my OG GHDs though!

Doesn’t work well on my hair
I have ginger curly long hair which is quite thick but blow dries straight well. Unfortunately this brush just doesn’t give me a good result

Easy to use and
I purchased this a couple of weeks ago mainly for my daughter as she has very long curly hair and she struggles with the straightener's. This brush is great but make sure you work from under your hair not over your hair it is a lot more effective this way and have patience, you have to let you hair sit for a moment or two before gliding down your hair and it’s not great with knots, actually brush your hair first.

Wonderful Glide+ Max Hot Brush
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received my new GHD Glide+ Max Hot Brush and upon opening the box was very impressed with how it looked. It had a very nice look and feel to it with what I can best describe as a Matt black style finish.
It is relatively heavy in weight compared to other paddle style brushes, but it is not too heavy that using the brush becomes a struggle.
As with most GHD heat products, the usual safety features come as standard. Maximum heat limit at around 185 degrees, designed to prevent extreme heat damage and a 60 minute automatic shut down (just incase you accidentally leave it on).
When using the brush, I did notice that handling the brush itself (not the bristle areas) was less evident of the heat than some other products I have used previously,
Using the brush was a joy. It effortlessly glides through hair leaving it nice and silky smooth feeling and really ironing out the waves and kinks and curls. It really does perform as well as you would expect from a GHD product and I am absolutely thrilled with this product. This is now my go to product in the mornings.
