Samsara is part of Guerlain’s Legendary fragrance collection. A collection made of emblematic fragrances, composed for more than a century by 5 generations of Perfumers. These mythical pioneer perfumes compose a unique olfactive library, that the Maison Guerlain endeavors to preserve.



Samsara is an elixir of seduction for a woman who has found harmony and balance, which is notably conveyed through the composition's raw materials : the sandalwood and a jasmine used only for religious offerings until then.



Designed by Georges Chevalier, its iconic “inverted heart” bottle is underscored with graceful scrolls typical of Art Nouveau. Its avant-garde stopper, in the form of a hollowed heart, evokes the delicate romanticism of this perfumery masterpiece and represented a real technical feat at the time.

It has something Oriental in this fragrance making you feel special, important, independent, standing out of the crowd. I find it very elegant. I enjoy wearing it, makes me feel beautiful and important. Definitely got some compliments while been out and about. Its a great luxurious present.

It's got some woody undertones which I'm not normally a fan of, but actually this one's really good! Long lasting scent too. I'd say it's probably better for a day fragrance than evening but still very nice.

I just couldn’t get on with this scent unfortunately. The scent didn’t settle into my skin or settle down. On the plus side a bottle would last a long time due to only needing 1 spray
