How to set and keep your makeup sweatproof with our Sephora Beauty Advisors

Skin prep:

Step 1: cleanse the skin using the Byoma Foaming Rice Deep Cleanser. 

Step 2: Apply Sephora Collection Soothe hydrating milky toner with a cotton pad to cleanse the skin of any oils and dirt creating a fresh base for following skincare and makeup while leaving you glowy and hydrated. 

Step 3: Protect your skin with the Hello Sunday SPF 50 The One That’s a Serum. 

Step 4: Apply Laneige Water Bank moisturiser, a brilliant weightless moisturiser ready for makeup. 

Flawless sweatproof complexion: 

Pro tip: any cream makeup you apply for it to last you must match it with a powder product.  

Step 1: Prime skin with Fenty Beauty Hydrating and Plumping Grip Trip Primer, apply with finger tips all over the face.  

Pro tip: the longer you leave your primer to sit on your skin the better. Extra time for it to get tacky for your foundation! 

Step 2: Using the #47 Sephora Collection Pro Brush tap the Makeup by Mario Surreal Natural Finish foundation into the skin. Apply pump to back of hand first and warm it up with the brush before applying to your face for a seamless blend.  

Pro tip: always start at the apples of your cheek with foundation and it’ll be an even spread of foundation and no harsh lines. 

Step 3: Brighten the under eye with Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Vanish Colour Corrector following with her NEW Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Blur Concealer for that extra coverage using the Sephora Collection #71 Pro Brush! 

Step 4: Sculpt the face with the Sephora Collection Contour Stick and the Sephora Collection Multitasker brush 06. Blending in circular upward motions. 

Pro tip: in between these steps use the MILK Hydro Grip spray to melt into the skin for a longer lasting and natural effect. 

Step 5: Using your fingertips add a pop of colour to the cheeks using Charlotte Tilbury Pinkgasm Blush wand! For extra glow follow with Rare Beauty Luminous Blush in shade cheeR 

Step 6: Set and bake your face with the MAC Studio Fix Pro Set + Blur Weightless Loose Powder in Translucent. Using a Sephora Collection Powder Puff, press & roll the powder into the skin to lock the oils away. For extra brightness you can press with the powder puff extra powder and leave for 5-10 minutes then wiping away with the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Pressed Powder for more coverage.

Pro tip: for bronzing & blushing the fluffier the brush the better the blend. 

Brows & eyes: 

Step 7: Lightly add in Sephora Collection Tint & Volume brow gel this will help your brows stay in place, extra colour and to get rid of any excess loose powder! 

Step 8: Buff in Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise eyeshadow in Pillow Talk for a soft shimmery definition. Follow with the Pillow Talk eyeliner pencil for a smoked look. 

Step 9: Build big and bold lashes with the Pillow Talk mascara in shade ‘dream pop’ for a summery spin on mascara! 

Lips & finishing touches: 

Pro tip: whether you’re wearing lipstick or not I always apply the MAC Prep and Prime lip primer it will smooth out the lips and make anything last longer. 

Step 10: Use the Wonderskin lip tint in shade ‘Whimsical’ for extra colour and staining! No need to worry about a lip top up!  

Step 11: Add the Sephora Collection 01 Boss clear gloss with longer lasting finish! 

Pro tip: let’s do the sandwich technique. Once your makeup is finished, set the face with the One Size ‘on till dawn’ mattifying waterproof setting spray. Before it dries light press extra loose powder in for extra smoothness. Making your base nice and waterproof!
