What’s the best way to use retinol?
As retinol is a powerful active ingredient, it’s advisable to space out the first few applications: apply once or twice the first week, then gradually increase the frequency. The aim is to let the skin gradually get used to this new active ingredient, and then to use it regularly, ideally every evening. Every person’s skin has its own rhythm: you have to adapt based on how it feels.
Why should it only be used in the evening?
Retinol is a photosensitive active ingredient. It should only be applied in the evening, when the skin is no longer exposed to sunlight. The next morning, we recommend that you apply sun protection all over your face and neck.
What’s the best way to apply the SEPHORA COLLECTION recovery firming night oil?
In the evening only, apply a few drops of the retinol oil to the clean, dry skin of your face and neck. For a firming effect, gently massage into your face and neck using circular movements. You can also use the SEPHORA COLLECTION rose quartz Gua Sha. Inspired by traditional Chinese medicine, this massage accessory tones the skin.

Gentle on sensitive skin, leaves skin soft, but fi
This product felt very gentle on my sensitive skin and didn’t cause any irritation or breakouts, which is always important for me. It left my skin feeling soft, smooth and comfortable after use. So far, I haven’t noticed any visible changes when it come to firming or reducing the appearance of wrinkles. That being said, I believe skincare products need consistency and time before showing real results, and I think the same applies to this product. I’m going to continue using it as a part of my nighttime routine and I’m looking forward to seeing how it performs over time.

Nourished skin in the morning
I've recently started my 30s and noticed more signs of ageing on my skin, especially some wrinkles and changes around my neck, so I wanted to take better care of it. I've been trying this night oil, and since I have sensitive skin, I was happy to find that it was gentle on my skin. I started by using it 2/3 times a week, and the application is smooth. The oil absorbs nicely into the skin without feeling too heavy. In the morning, my skin feels soft, nourished, and slightly firmer too. Over time, I haven't seen any dramatic results, but there has definitely been a noticeable improvement. My skin looks more hydrated and feels more plump by morning, which I really like. I would also say that because it's an oil, you should be a bit cautious if you have acne prone skin.
Overall, it's a nice, gentle product that works well if you're looking for hydration and a subtle boost.

Nourished dewy fresh looking skin!
I had been using this amazing product for over a week now and my skin feels and looks amazing! No discomfort or breakouts just dewy soft nourished skin. So easy to apply with the pipette and gives just the right amount. For the size of the bottle great value for money. Going to be a firm staple in my skincare now

Leaves the skin soft and smooth
This is the first time I'm trying to sephora product. I have to say that it leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth. My skin is dry so I like to consistency of this but I do feel that if you have oily skin this may be a bit too greasy for you. It's great to use this with a gua sha. My skin feels plump and fine lines feel a bit more plump.

Great serum!
Used this for a couple of days now and already see a difference. It’s white tightening and makes my skin feel firm when I wake up. There isn’t much of a scent and it’s great for sensitive skin. Is comfortable all day.
