Not the best
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using these products now for about 2/3 months in this time I have seen no drastic improvement to my hair thickness or health so I am not overall happy.
It’s a nice shampoo set and I am really grateful to try it but don’t believe the properties in it work as well as I was hoping for but this could also be down to my hair as well.

Ok shampoo
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Its a nice shampoo but at first was a bit strong with the tingling. Very strong minty smell. I didn't find it helped with thickening my hair though which was a bit disappointing. Packaging looks professional and im not sure on the value for money. Unfortunately this time I wouldn't buy it again

I like it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the shampoo, the texture is nice and I like the spearmint fragrance. However, I haven't seen any visible change as of yet ( I've been using for around 2 months now)
My hair feels healthier and I have less oily hair. The shampoo does have a slight burning sensation on the scalp which is a bit weird but I thought I'd get used to it. It leaves my hair feeling fresh and shiny. I would buy again to see if it works fully on thickening my thinning hair.

Good effect, bad smell
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hate the minty smell of this but its the only downside for me, the smell really lingers also. I prefer a floral or light scent. Texture is good, foams nicely, cleans well and felt fuller from first use. Good amount in bottle also

Avoid if you like to feel like you can breathe in
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try this new product as I was starting to worry my hair was thinning a little. The first shampoo, was ok, but the menthol was starting to catch my throat. I soldiered on, and started the second shampoo cycle. Oh my word! It was like washing with Vicks! The menthol smell was so strong, I couldn't breathe properly in the shower. It was catching my throat, making me cough and my eyes started to burn! It might sound dramatic, but the heat of the shower, mixed with the menthol, just created a perfect storm. I might as well have showered in pepper spray! It might be a good product, but only those with no sense of smell will ever find out!

Not SLS free sadly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this for a month as part of a 3 step system, as my hair is thin and fine, but also I’m losing a great deal recently due to new medication. Unfortunately, the serum gave me a sore scalp and I only noticed a slow in the hair loss rather than a thickening improvement. As a shampoo, it leaves the hair clean and not heavy or claggy. The bottle is huge, and will last for considerable time! The product is not SLS free, and my hair prefers no SLS so I won’t be purchasing in future.

Invigorating smell, great in the mornings
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Nioxin 3 stage programme for 6 weeks now. The products make my hair feel great after use: really soft and full of body.
I have the litre bottles which last ages (I would guess 3 months or more for shoulder length hair). After 6 weeks I still have at least half a bottle of each left so I will keep using them until they run out (posting the review now as it is due).
The shampoo and conditioner bottles are very similar, but the shampoo has a black lid. This is nice and easy when I am in the shower with no glasses as I can see the black lid and I think: shampoo for dirty hair (black lid), conditioner for clean hair (white lid). The shampoo is quite runny so be careful you don’t squeeze too much out, the conditioner is thicker. The shampoo is very minty smelling and you need to avoid getting it in your eyes or anywhere sensitive to avoid the tingling (unless you like that sort of thing). The smell is nice and invigorating in the mornings.
I found my hair felt really clean, but quite tangled after using the shampoo. Once I used the conditioner as well it was fine though so I definitely recommend against using the shampoo alone.
I have heard so many great things about the brand so was really excited to try it. I have been using it around 3 times a week for 6 weeks. Looking at my before and after pictures I can’t really see any more hair growth at the roots. I know my hair grows quite slowly so maybe this will be more obvious over time. Or maybe I have misunderstood and it won’t actually encourage better growth, just make my existing hair look thicker and stronger (which it does). I have rated it based on how it makes my hair look and feel.
