Lovely intense fragrance

A bit too sweet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male Elixir is definitely a fragrance that stands out and the bottle is honestly stunning. It has the classic male torso shape and the gold and dark stripes make it look more luxurious. The packaging also feels very premium especially with the gold tin which makes it look expensive and perfect as a gift. In terms of longevity, this perfume lasts for hours on the skin. It is definitely a strong fragrance, better for evenings, colder weather or special occasions.
Personally, I find it a bit too sweet for men. It is warm, bold and attractive, but the honey and vanilla make it quite sweet so I think it depends on personal taste. If you like strong, sweet and long-lasting fragrances, this one is a very good option.

Rich and alluring.

Fantastic fragrance, very sweet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The opening is very sweet, you get some freshness from the mint but the base notes of tobacco and honey are apparently from the offset. Once it settles, the tobacco and honey remain along with some vanilla but it remains very sweet.
If you have tried the absolu version, this is much sweeter and less mature. More suited as a night out fragrance or for the younger crowd.
The longevity is above average, I got about 10-12 hours and about 6 hours of strong projection.
The packaging is typical for this line, it comes in the classic shaped tin, in gold.
Overall, it's a fantastic release from the house and it'd be in my top 3 for the house.

Golden sailor bottle
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Le Male Elixir parfum by Jean Paul Gaultier is a sensual male fragrance that is spicy and warm. It contains blends of tonka bean, lavender, benzoin, mint and bergamot. This combination of scents creates an alluring fragrance that is individual and powerful. The fragrance lasts all day and I feel very confident wearing it to the office. The golden sailor bottle with black stripes is a statement piece. The pull off ring finishes it off beautifully along with the golden outer tin.
