Product Description

WHAT IT IS:

Vitamin C is a hero ingredient for skin brightening and powerful multi-functional antioxidant. It works to improve the appearance of hyperpigmentation, dullness and fine lines.

WHAT IT DOES:

Formulated with 30% pure L-ascorbic Acid, THE INKEY List Vitamin C serum helps your skin appear brighter and targets signs of ageing. It also helps to protect against free radicals and pollution. Best used in the AM, the rich, creamy texture gives an instant smoothing effect, making it a great base for makeup.

KEY INGREDIENTS:

• 30% pure stable l-ascorbic acid (vitamin c)

Directions

Can be used AM or PM, but we recommend using in the AM to make the most of its antioxidant properties. Apply a pea-sized amount to face and neck after cleansing and Hyaluronic Acid if using. For a thinner consistency, we recommend mixing with Hyaluronic Acid. Follow with moisturizer and suncreen if applied in the AM.

Ingredients

DIMETHICONE, ASCORBIC ACID, POLYSILICONE-11, PEG-10 DIMETHICONE.

This list of ingredients may be subject to change, please consult the packaging of the product purchased.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sticks to skin and does not spread [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is very disappointing, when I put it on my skin it immediately turns into a paste that is impossible to evenly spread over face, it collects in clumps, impossible to layer with other products and pills on its own even without anything on top.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I have tried lots of different vitamin C products and this one has been the best. It leaves a nice matte, smooth finish on my skin which is ideal for a nighttime product. A lot of other vitamin C products leave too much residue or can be oily, but this absorbs so well into the skin with a high potency. Only a small amount is needed especially if you have sensitive skin or are new to vitamin C. Start with a lower concentration if you haven’t used vitamin C products before on your skin.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Springs, extremely fatty, does not react well with sunscreen I've been using Tretinoin, azelaic acid, and lower concentration vitamin c, but this is my first 30% vitamin c. I have rather tough skin, didn't have negative reaction to Tretinoin or azelaic acid, but this stung on application the whole month I tried it. I accepted this as "no pain, no gain", but other issues made me bin this before the tube was finished: 1. It's extremely "fatty". Not oily, or even greasy. 2. When I applied it and sunscreen over it, it combined to make something so fatty and tough that "chunks" formed that I literally had to scrape off my face, no way to wash it off. Soon after this I had some pimples, which is unusual for me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pills no matter what I do Originally tried this to add Vit C to my routine but found it pilled very badly, I tried using it in a different order to my other products but this didn't seem to help. I instead purchased The Inkey List's Vitamin C + EGF Serum instead and found that works a LOT better with no pilling. Maybe this product could be changed to mimic the texture of the other one. I'm sure the ingredients etc would work well as the alternative serum does but I just couldn't get it to stay on my skin!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing product I use this every morning and my skin looks so dewy after. helps when i wear it after hyaluronic acid and before my moisturizer

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I didn't experience irritation, but it pills quite badly when followed with moisturiser and spf as recommended. Texture is more like a lightweight moisturiser than a serum, which isn't necessarily bad - just unexpected. Feels greasy - alongside l-ascorbic acid, the only other ingredients are 2 silicones and an emulsifier. I don't mind silicone, but this formula just doesn't work. Smells like coltsfoot rock.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for sensitive skin My face burned and itched after applying, then i started mixing it with hyaluronic acid,,,but still i got acne breakout and it burned a lot. And the tecture is grainy, it leaves white residues on the face.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Weird odour I bought the product thinking it would be an actual serum but it is a cream. It makes your hands smell like dirty coins and sends them orange. It also exfoliated my hands and skin on the face (quite abrasive). It also dyed my beard orange and transferred onto my partners clothes
