I got this a week ago and have only used it a few times, I will say it’s very hydrating and leaves lips soft, I noticed it brings out my shape more as I have natural small lips, so far I like this just need to continue and see how it gets on, not sure if this is plumping as I heard but love that gives nice shape and feels smooth - this morning I lined my lips with the Maybelline lifter lipliner then added this in middle and gave a really nice look for full lips.

I had seen some good reviews and wanted to compare this to the Clarins lip oil. They only had the gold shimmer one so tried that. It’s not game changing for me but decent. It lasts a while but too sticky for me.

Pretty shine, no hydration
I was really disappointed with this lip balm. After trying Tatcha’s Dewy Cream and loving it, I had high expectations for the Gold Lip Balm. While it does look beautiful on the lips and gives a nice sheen, it completely fails in terms of hydration.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t moisturize my lips at all, and my lips still felt dry shortly after applying it. For the price, I expected much better performance, especially from a brand known for high-quality skincare.
If you’re only looking for a product that looks nice, this might work for you. But if you want a lip balm that actually hydrates and nourishes your lips, I wouldn’t recommend spending your money on this one.
