Kérastase's bestselling, iconic Elixir Ultime hair oil is now refillable. This leave-in hair oil, with its unforgettable shine and timeless fragrance delivers softness and nourishment, making it the ideal hair oil for all hair types including dull hair.
Deeply luxurious, this hair oil is formulated with a combination of wild camellia and French camellia, delicately harvested by hand in Brittany, France. It is also infused with Argan Oil.
Lightweight, and gently scented with Kérastase's iconic Kérastase perfume, this hair oil is a multi-sensorial and highly versatile hair treatment.
It can be used as:
1. A Pre-cleanse: Apply on dry hair before shampoo to help detangling.
2. A Pre-blow dry oil: To protect the hair from heat up to 230°C*, before using heat styling tools
3. A Finishing: Work into the ends of the hair to control frizz, strength, and style.
4. A Touch-Up: Apply a drop to ends throughout the day for a touch of shine.

Directions
- Apply 1 or 2 drops on wet or dry hair, as a leave-in treatment.
- Start from mid-lengths and work to ends.
- Style as desired.
- It can be used as a pre-cleanse, or a pre-blow dry oil, and for finishing and touch-ups during the day.
HOW TO REFILL
You can easily refill your bottle over & over thanks to a 3-step process:
1. Unscrew your empty oil refill & separate it from the glass bottle.
2. Unbox your new oil refill & plug it into the glass bottle.
3. Turn your refill to the left until the click to lock-it & recycle your empty refill by removing the pump.

I’ve gone through two bottles of this hair oil and I keep coming back to it. It makes my hair feel softer and smoother from the first use, helps control frizz, and adds a healthy shine without making my hair look greasy or heavy. A small amount is enough, and I also really like the scent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using Kérastase L’Huile Originale and it’s a luxury hair oil that gives my hair shine, smoothness, and helps control frizz without feeling heavy (as long as I don’t use too much).
It makes my hair look instantly softer, smoother, and more polished. I really notice the difference in how glossy and “salon-finished” my hair looks after applying it. A small amount goes a long way, so the bottle lasts a while. It also has a strong, luxurious fragrance that feels very salon-like.
However, it is quite expensive, and if I overapply it, it can make my hair look a bit greasy, especially around the finer sections. It’s also important to mention that it doesn’t really repair damaged hair — it mainly improves the appearance and texture.
Overall, I think it works best for dry, frizzy, thick, or color-treated hair, especially if the goal is smooth, shiny, and healthy-looking hair.

Amazing smell!

Is this product suitable for frizzy hair?
Yes. Do not overdo it when using the oil and any excess use on your elbows and knees.
Use it little and every morning and night before bed.

Does this condition without making hair greasy ?
Yes, I use as a styling product on wet hair or on the ends if the feel a bit dry. Neither makes my hair greasy.

Does this work for curly hair? I'm around 3b/3c curls
Cannot comment on curly hair. It is generally good for my frizzy hair. Just need a little,no build up. Have tried others but not as good. Expensive but lasts a long time
