Very disappointed
Sadly these didn’t live up to expectations and were the usual Charlotte Tilbury quality. I found that after half an hour to an hour of applying these eyeshadow sticks the colour on my eyes had changed to pale silver. This happened with both of the sticks that I purchased which were in different colours. Really disappointed as they were expensive and I’m going to have to return them. Definitely not what I was expecting.

Effortless shining
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mum of 2 approved! Satin Diamonds is such a pretty, flattering shimmer and takes literally seconds to apply. Perfect for anyone who wants a quick eye look without faffing around with palettes and brushes. Once it sets, it doesn't just slide off during the day. Because it's a cream to set formula, it doesn't need rubbing when removing.

24 hours flawless eyeshadow range
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Who wants to look flawless even after a whole night of partying. This Charlotte Tillbury Exagger-Eyes shadow range is a must for your makeup bag. They are highly pigmented, creamy and they blend so well. I got the colour Cashmere Sculpt and is so natural looking lasting 24 hours. Definitely will be getting more from this range.

Glides on, high impact
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lovely to try this high-end Exagger-eyes Eye Shadow Stick from Charlotte Tilbury. From the get-go, this product oozes quality, with its beautiful packaging and expensive-looking gold-coloured finish.
The shade I chose was ‘Astral Topaz’, a deep, warm, rich brown with shimmering metallic flecks, like spiced dark chocolate. It twists up and glides on with ease, no pulling of the eyelid, and great coverage from the first pass. A couple of sweeps and your lid is lined - I left it at a chunky line, slightly winged with a lighter touch under the lower lashes as I didn’t want to go too Jo heavy, but you could definitely take it all over the lid. I would have done so with a lighter shade (which would’ve been great for adding highlights too). I smudged it gently with my finger, but this was barely necessary as the rounded tip gives a more blended finish.
I completed my look with a favourite black mascara and really loved the result. The warm tones in the shadow complemented my auburn hair and the shimmer really made my eyes pop, and look more blue-green (thank you colour-theory!). Worth a try if you like a product which is pleasant to use and high impact for minimal effort. I’d love to see this in a dark metallic gunmetal grey.
