Awful reaction
I have multiple other products from Murad which are brilliant so I did not think this product would be any different, after just 1 use my face had red blotches, dry, itchy, very rough like sandpaper and has been like it for days! Currently using a cold compress and gentle moisturiser, but very disappointed as my skin was improving so much before this happened and I feel like it’s a real set back, my acne and post acne scars are one of my biggest insecurities so this allergic reaction has really affected me. I have been to dermatologists and had chemical face peels so I do not think it’s due to the potency of the chemicals in this product. Please take caution if you choose to try this product and always patch test first I wish I did.

Do not buy
I’m sitting typing this review while my skin is burning! This cleanser is not gentle as it says on the box, it is too strong and has given me chemical burn which has manifested in swelling, white bumps and burning itchy sensation all over my face. I have seen so many people react like this but I thought I’d ignore them and try for myself, bad mistake. Horrible cleanser, I can only hope that my skin recovers

Great cleanser
Great cleanser which I use both AM and PM. You only need a small amount of product to get a good lather. I have blemish prone skin and this product has really helped control/manage my acne.

Horrible allergic reaction
Do not use this product if you even have the slightest hint of sensitive skin. The skin on my face is semi-sensitive, but not overly so (I would describe my skin type as combination, rather than purely sensitive) and I have used various, fairly strong spot treatment cleansers for years. After 2 uses of this cleanser, however, I broke out in a terrible allergic reaction. My face swelled up for about 24 hours, it stung, it became dry and flaky and is still irritated almost a week after use. From other reviews, this product clearly works wonders for some skin types, but it's really, really not worth it if you have any level of sensitive skin on your face/neck. I should have paid more attention to others who had the same reaction on their skin.

Horrible cleanser
Used to use this cleanser to help with my spotty oily t-zone, so decided to buy again, however I had the most horrid reaction with this latest cleanser after just a few uses. Skin became so dry, flaky, and incredibly sensitive that any serum or moisturiser I put on after washing my face stung like hell! Skin felt like sandpaper for over a week and I had the worst breakout of spots I've had for 10 years. Would not recommend if you have combination or sensitive skin. Avoid at all costs.
