Glowing, sparkling pearly skin effect. Lightweight formula, easily absorbed into skin
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was provided a sample of the Weleda Glow Perfecting Serum Drops with liquorice to test out in exchange for my honest review. First reaction: wow so pearly!! The serum has a pearly sparkling texture, similar to what you would expect from a highlighter. I made the mistake at the first time use and applied a generous amount of the serum directly on my face only to realise I was starting to resemble the hoa hoa hoa characters in a famous autumn movie. Trust the instructions, apply only 2-3 drops. It absorbed very easily and quickly into my skin so mixing it with the face moisturiser makes a lot of sense. Personally the product feels very well priced for the quantity of formula you can get out of it and the amount you need to apply to get that summery or party ready glowing skin effect you would generally get from body sprays, cremes or highlighters. The packaging is aesthetically pleasing, pink, and minimalist looking.

Good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The scent is fresh and slightly floral with a lavender note. The formula is clean and plant-based with licorice extract for dark spots and squalane for softness. There is some alcohol and essential oil so it may not suit very reactive skin.
The texture is light and silky almost pearly and it sinks in quickly without leaving stickiness. Just two or three drops are enough and I like that it gives an instant glow. The dropper bottle is simple but practical and makes it easy to use the right amount.
My skin looked brighter right away and with regular use it felt more even and radiant. The effect on pigmentation was subtle but noticeable over time.

Summer glow in these winter months
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Weleda products they are so skin friendly for every skink type I have their skin food face cream and it’s fabulous so this didn’t disappoint I know it was going to be great and it is it give you a lovely summer glow has barely any scent to it. I mix with my foundation to give it that all over glow. I love their ingredients and that it is part of the skin food range which also hydrates your skin.

I’ve used this a few times when applying my makeup and I’ve noticed it’s given a subtle sheen to my overall look once applied. The product comes in a good sized bottle and is really easy to apply.
