Directions

Better than Rhode!
Loved this milky toner. It took a while and did end up purging my skin- noticed dryness around my mouth and caused slight skin irritation (as noted by others) but after this went away (a week) my skin felt so fresh, so hydrated and helped lessen the appearance of skin texture. It worked for me and i have highly sensitive skin so id advise anyone with the same skin type to keep at it and you'll notice a huge difference :)

Disappointed
After researching this product and seeing it recommended by influencers, I decided to try it. Unfortunately, after only two uses, it caused skin irritation, including redness, small bumps, and peeling. I further reviewed the ingredients and noticed it contains several potential irritants, such as witch hazel (listed high in the ingredients), peppermint leaf extract, rosemary extract, and anise extract.

Don’t hesitate - buy it.
SO good. Me and my daughter quickly became obsessed with this- the best milky toner I have tried by far. It’s a nice light, more liquid texture than cream, more what I consider “milky”. Best applied directly to the face with hands as opposed to cotton wool. When applied at night, I wake up and my face is so soft. Works well under makeup also. Finished a small bottle that I bought elsewhere and had to hunt for the big one, Sephora was one of the only places that had it in stock- sold out elsewhere.

A God-Tir Product
This has been impossible to buy in the UK until pretty recently (thanks Sephora!) so I've tried similar products like The Ordinary's Saccharomyces Milky Toner and the Beauty of Joseon one. Both of those were fairly underwhelming and lowered my expectations significantly when I finally got my hands on the TirTir version. Well...I needn't have worried. This is light years ahead of both those toners, and is probably already in my top ten favourite skincare products EVER. It's hard to explain why that is, but the ingredients list is probably a big reason...it's packed to the brim with the most nourishing, supportive ingredients anybody could ask for (and I do mean *anybody*; it definitely feels as though even the most sensitised skin types would lap this up!) It has a light, watery consistency that feels refreshing on application but punches way above its weight in moisturising ability. This is the sort of product that I reckon could easily replace my moisturiser in the summer months, in the winter it may be a little too light to suffice but we'll see! I've just restarted some pretty heavyweight serums (Skin Rocks Hyperpigmentation Serum in the AM, Beauty Pie's Triple Retinol Serum in the PM) so this toner has been a godsend for keeping my barrier nice and intact throughout. I really hope they release this in a mist form in the near future, that would be amazing. I cannot praise this toner highly enough, it earns a permanent spot in my cabinet from now on!
