Highlights
The Ordinary's UV Filters SPF 45 Serum is a serum-textured sunscreen to provide broad-spectrum SPF 45 sun protection. By providing both UVA and UVB coverage, this formulation protects against sun damage and reduces premature skin aging caused by the sun.
This daily suncare formulation is lightweight and white cast-free. It is also compatible with other makeup and skincare products to allow for easy layering.
The UV Filters SPF 45 Serum also offers instant and all-day hydration support, is non-comedogenic (does not clog pores), and provides skin with a natural-looking luminous finish.
Testing shows:
Broad-spectrum UVA/UVB sun protection: Provides SPF 45 protection against sun damage and premature skin aging.
Compatibility with makeup and skincare: Layers well with makeup and other skincare products.
Hydration: Offers instant and all day hydration.
Directions
Shake well before use. Apply to the face liberally and evenly 15 minutes before UV exposure. To maintain protection during continued UV exposure, reapply every 2 hours or after material water exposure, towel-drying, swimming, or extensive perspiration. Use a water-resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating. Do not stay too long in the sun, even while using a sunscreen product.

Lovely spf serum

I wasn't impressed with this product. It was sticky, and not the texture I expected. It has absorbed but my skin has gone greasy - and I normally have very dry skin. The packaging also states for full protection it has to be reapplied every two hours, which is not going to happen with a full face of makeup. I chose not to wear makeup today to see how it went. I kept it away from my eyes, but I did rub my eyes later in the morning and it immediately caused my eyes to sting and continually water. I've now been wearing it for one full work day and I've broke out with 5 new spots. I have a consistent skincare routine so this shouldn't happen. Unimpressed and won't be using it again.

ive been using this for a few months now and it is one of the best spfs i have used. The absorption is really good, there is no white cast, it leaves a nice luminosity on your face and does the job

Great SPF
Great SPF I find most SPFS I use make my oily skin worse and clogged and my makeup appear too greasy, however this one is great, has high SPF for my fair skin and actually makes my makeup look glowly and doesn’t interfere with how the products apply and wear through the day.

Lovely SPF
Absolutely adore this SPF. I have extremely sensitive skin and I have only been able to use products by the ordinary or Cetaphil without fear, so I was really excited to see this SPF. It is very lightweight and doesn’t leave any residue. However, I did notice that I broke out when I first started using it. My skin eventually returned to normal so I don’t know whether I was just getting used to it or it was because I didn’t wash it off properly

Daily skincare routine
Decided to give this a go as part of my skincare routine and I’m liking it so far, it’s nice to feel spf protected throughout the day without having to use a greasy suncream

Fluid and lightweight
I love this product! Not sure why it’s getting so much hate, but I find it lightweight and fluid and it sinks in very rapidly. It’s also a great makeup base and doesn’t pile with my skincare or makeup either. It also doesn’t burn my eyes, unlike some face sunscreens I have tried in the past. I think it’s great!

Not good not worth it
Hate it out dated uv filters and there’s a uva and uvb and also a PA++++ ? like what they’re just trying to sound so smart yet it makes no sense stay away
