Wouldn’t recommend
Had the previous hotbrush from Shark and felt it was better quality and better over all - hot comb sections went all the way round and the head was big and round instead of angular like this newer, smaller model. Unfortunately my old model just won’t heat up anymore so purchased this - almost double the price of the previous model. The plug on this is huge so takes away from the slimmer handle and head as it won’t be as easy to pack into an overnight bag. Is less heavy than the previous model but feels a bit cheap and plasticky. I’ve noticed mine will randomly shut off the dry hair mode and start blowing out hot air as if I’d put it in wet hair mode yet the toggle hasn’t been moved on the handle. I’m really disappointed by this product

Just Buy It
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s the perfect Blowdry tool, in my opinion the best on the market. Trust me I’ve tried a lot and I have 4A/4B hair that is very thick and very coarse. This gets my whole head done all the way straight in about 50 minutes. I am so impressed. I have previously bought the GhD Duet Blowdry, and tried the Drybar Blowdry Brush, and the Dyson Air Wrap. None of them compare to how smooth, shiny, and straight this brush can get. The pros are the heat and speed settings. I’m pretty confident I can use it once a week to straighten my hair without getting heat damage because of how few passes you need to dry and smooth the hair. Super efficient technology in there. I only wish I had known about the previous generation of this design which I believe is the SmoothStyle brush. It’s a bit cheaper and it looks very similar. I might also buy it just to compare since it might be just as good or better for my hair.

Sadly , very disappointed
I've always taken such good care of my hair . This was a gift , the person thought I would love the combination tool. My hair has never looked so dry and dull . I've tried it on different settings and it just doesn't suit me .

Healthy hair
Love this! This drys my hair so fast, and gives it the volume I'm looking for, making my hair look thicker. Get lots of compliments on how healthy my hair is looking too! Definitely a fantastic purchase.

Don’t buy!
I bought it 2 months ago, i have long and healthy hair for 15 years. And after few times using it it damaged my hair , now i have to cut it , my old babyliss brush streigther never damaged my hair… and the shark cost 10 times more.

An early Christmas present from Me to Me! 😊
I ummed & ahhed & finally gave in to purchasing the Shark Glossi…..I really like it!! Intuitive & easy to use. Personally, I find it works best on damp hair - dry & style at the same time - job done!! However, it doesn’t leave my hair perfectly straight or glossy - though, for daily use it’s great. I usually only use shampoo and conditioner, though have recently purchased a heat / frizz protection serum & will see if that makes a difference. I haven’t got on so well using it on completely dry hair though this might be a case of practice or maybe it isn’t particularly suitable for highlighted hair which can be drier (hence the purchase of the serum) - it can also get too hot on the high heat setting. I have shoulder length, highlighted fine to medium hair. Even though I recently purchased the SpeedStyle pro hairdryer with similar attachments….The Glossi 2 in 1 means I don’t have to keep changing attachment tools. Since discovering Shark hairdryers & hot brush…I have never been so invested & taken so much time doing my hair!! Enjoying the experience!! P.S. This is my first experience of using a hot brush!
