A couple of months ago it started playing up and overheating so I did all the cleaning and maintenance as is suggested by Shark. Today it blew up! I will be looking to get a new hot air brush but won't be buying another of these.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dont buy if your sockets aren't near the floor. Had it for 1 hour and thrown it in the bin. Worst purchase I have ever made. The plug is horrendous and far too big. Couldn't fit it in my sockets. This should be shown in product images. We tried to change the plug to a normal one which we then found out you couldn't do. Why would you put something so big on a styling tool.

This is a hot air drying hair glosser? Can it be used on short hair?

I tend to use it more when my bob is longer tbh yes you can but I prefer blow drying as opposed to the brush
