I have oily acne prone skin which seems to breakout from everything. I always check the ingredients of the products I use and am very picky. This product has one ingredient which could potentially clog pores, but apart from that it is non-comedogenic. However I never decided to use it because I would rather have a completely non-comedogenic product just in case. I have recently been suffering with retinol dermatitis as I apply quite strong/prescription actives to my face at night for my skin texture and anti-aging etc. my skin has been incredibly burnt and scaly, so dry in the day, however much moisturiser I applied nothing was fixing the burning sensation and flakiness of my skin due to the prescription acne products I apply. I was a little hesitant to use this barrier butter as I have used similar products before in the past from other brands and they just made my skin breakout (la Roche posay etc..). However I had no other option and I knew I needed to fix my skin barrier in some way so I thought I would give this butter a try. Honestly I am not joking it saved all my issues in one day. No more burning sensation, flakiness, I apply this morning and evening. I started out applying it where my skin would burn to act as a barrier between my skin and the prescription treatments and when I didn’t break out there I started to apply it all over my face. It’s also helped in lightening any scars I’ve had and has calmed down my redness completely. I will be purchasing the bigger size once my small one runs out! A great product, I also love the texture of it

Super thick and glowy
Great heavy-duty moisturiser. A lot of people use it as a night cream but I use it for morning and night when my skin needs a bit more TLC / is drier.
