Extremely soothing, with a fresh apple fragrance, it relieves scalp irritation while clearing flakiness and build-up. It is mild enough for daily use, and will leave your hair shiny and manageable.
Flaky/Itchy Scalp Shampoo's exceptional ingredients include Lauryl Betaine, which cleanses without redness or irritation; and anti-microbial Piroctone Olamine, which helps relieve flaking and itching.
Unlike other anti-dandruff shampoos, this one won't dry out your hair or strip it of colour. Use it as your main shampoo, or in conjunction with the recommended shampoo for your hair texture, for an occasional deeper cleanse.

Directions
- Use daily until your scalp is clear, and thereafter at regular intervals, as required.
- Apply to wet hair and lather well with a gentle kneading of the scalp for 60 seconds.
- Rinse and repeat, if necessary.
- Follow up with the appropriate Philip Kingsley Conditioner and Scalp Toner for flaky/itchy scalps.

The best
I’ve been using this for about 2 or 3 years now, and will probably never stop as it keeps my dry scalp completely flake-free. I do find it’s not that foamy, so I do a first cleanse with a cheaper shampoo so that this one can really get to my scalp without using too much product. Whilst it is a bit on the pricey side, I find a 500ml bottle lasts me around 9 months.

It works so well for an itchy scalp, amazing product, I only have to buy once or twice a year, but have recommended to my friends who are also buying regularly. Fabulous product. I am a nurse so very sceptical about these products but so far so good.

No more itchy/flaky scalp. Hair feels clean and fresh.
I've really had trouble finding a shampoo and conditioner that works with my menopausal hair, but this duo is great and one I keep coming back to.

My scalp feels relaxed when
My scalp feels relaxed when using this product. I no longer feel it's itchy and flaky - I get a good clean with the shampoo. Also liked the samples that were sent - the serum makes my hair so soft and the elasticizer worked so good and I have less hair fall.

This is really soothing on
This is really soothing on my scalp which was quite dry and itchy. I’ve only used it twice so far but I’m pleased with it. It can leave your hair a little bit dry but that can be improved with conditioner.

Finally found something that actually works
Really impressed with this shampoo. It lathers well without stripping, and the difference in my hair after the first wash was noticeable — smoother, shinier, and much easier to manage. It pairs brilliantly with the conditioner and the results together are better than anything I've used before. My hair looks healthy and feels soft rather than frizzy or dry. A definite staple in my routine now.
I've tried countless conditioners for a flaky, itchy scalp and most either weigh my hair down or just don't address the root issue. This one is different. It's noticeably soothing from the first use, the itch calmed down quickly, and my scalp feels genuinely hydrated rather than just coated. My hair is left soft and manageable without any heaviness. I'll definitely be repurchasing.
