PLEASE consider reintroducing Heavy Mettle
I was disappointed when Heavy Mettle was discontinued, a product I’d used for almost 14 years and also how I discovered Pai as a brand - it was literally the only hand cream I could use without causing further irritation to my dry, cracked and often bleeding (sorry if TMI!!) hands in autumn and winter. After reading the very positive reviews on the website I ordered the new Gentle Genius hand cream in early December and used it for several weeks, but sadly it didn’t live up to my expectations, a few days in my hands were incredibly dry, cracked and bleeding again. I eventually gave up and resumed using my last tube of Heavy Mettle, and my hands improved within days. Much as I like the concept of restoring the skin barrier, I just don’t think the Gentle Genius hand cream is hydrating enough. On a positive, the Gentle Genius hand cream didn’t cause any irritation for me, hence the 2* rating. PLEASE consider reintroducing Heavy Mettle alongside Gentle Genius hand cream.

Repairs dry skin!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gutted when the heavy mettle hand cream by pai was discontinued. However, I now use this cream and honestly it does wonders for my skin barrier. I use it every night before bed. It is thicker than heavy mettle but absorbs really easily if you keep rubbing it in. If I ever forget to apply it before bed I notice the difference that my hands are dry the next day. Definitely recommend it works wonders!
