Product Description
This gentle, refreshing facial scrub helps unclog pores by removing dead surface skin cells and impurities that dull the complexion for smoother skin thanks to bamboo and silica, two natural exfoliants.
It refreshes the skin and awakens the senses with a blend of invigorating essential oils: Spearmint, Field Mint, Bergamot, Lavender and Geranium.

Suitable for all skin types.
Silica: an element derived from a mineral, quartz. Silica is an abundant resource and is the main component of sand.
Red tourmaline: a precious stone from Brazil, with energizing power. It would have purifying and balancing virtues for the spirit. Legend has it that the tourmaline descended from heaven to earth and crossed all the colors of the rainbow during its journey, giving it its infinite variations of color.

Directions
On wet skin, gently massage a small amount of Checks and Balances Facial Scrub™ with fingertips in circular motions, avoiding the eye area.
Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Use in the morning or evening, 3 to 4 times a week.
Follow with a toner or pre-care lotion tailored to skin's needs.

The best
I've tried lots and scrubs work well for me but this is one of the very best.very fine particles which give a really thorough scrub as hard or soft as you like,smells superb and massages with silky ease.After washing off not only cleanses skin but also moisturizes with skin that is soft,sky and transformed. Similar to ROC pads but I also use proraso mens scrub for pre shaving and also if I want a bit of the best heavy heavy motorbiking scrub,fantastic.

Bring back Modern Friction!
I swear by Origins products and have used them for over 20 years, but am so disappointed that two of my favourite products have been discontinued. The first was Vitazing moisturiser (SPF 15) and then Modern Friction. The alternatives are not anywhere as good, including this one. I bought this as a replacement for Modern Friction, and had high hopes since I love the Checks and Balances line, but it's nowhere near as good. It didn't foam well and my skin didn't feel as fresh and cleansed as it did with Modern Friction. Please bring this product back! Unfortunately I won't be buying this again.
