Liquid gold for skin
Love this serum, comes in handy pump containers which releases just the right amount of product. I apply every other evening, it spreads and absorbs easily. The next day my complexion is firmer, brighter and clearer making my skin look younger and fresher.

Improved my skin texture
This Olehenriksen Retinol Cream is NICE! I was pleasantly surprised that it was light, and had a very refreshing scent. I used it once a week, and it didn't cause my skin to break out- something I always pay attention to when I introduce my skin to new products. I noticed that it helped to even out and improve the texture of my 38 year old skin. I am going to start using it twice a week and I am hoping that the results continue to improve the look of my skin.

Reintroduced to retinol
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted this product by Influenster and Ole Henriksen in exchange for my honest review. I recently had my second child and am in my late 30s. I wanted to start back into my anti-aging routine and this product fit the bill. It was gentle enough to not disturb my skin barrier, but it is effective in making my skin look smoother. I really liked to put the moisturizer on top to further plump my skin.

A must-have Retinol serum!
I've tried retinol in many different brands and this is by far the best serum I've tried.
First off, most of the retinol serums I've used have been watery, clear consistency. This serum is more like a lotion consistency, so by habit, I used less of this formula than I would use of a clear serum.
My next impression was that this serum smells SO. GOOD. It has a sweet citrus smell, like an orange creamsicle, but it's very light and didn't linger. The instructions tell you to use it at night with a clean face 1-2 times a week and gradually increase your application. This method has worked well for me and my skin is looking so much better.
Like I said; it has a lotion-like consistency. It was very light on my skin and it absorbed quickly but didn't feel immediately dry like other retinol products I've used.
I've had some problems with other retinols a couple days after initially applying them with redness and drying, but I haven't had any noticeable difference with this product,
Overall, I'm in love with this retinol serum. It's a lovely, light consistency, it smells fresh and clean and it's giving me a noticeable, gradual improvement in my skin.
