Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and subtle As a non wearer of lipstick I thought I would give it a go. I LOVE it! Archival is so pretty, applied gently is so subtle, barely there a kind of blurred effect, definite flush. Doesn’t dry your lips out! Think I’ll be giving some other colours a go!

The lipstick is a creamy matte formula with good staying power but I add a little of Merit Pointelle lip gloss over the top. It wears quite well and doesn’t stain your lips, so you always get the true colour of the lipstick when you reapply, rather than a build up from the original application

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but The reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because of the color. I thought Archival was going to be a mauve tone, but it's neutral; it doesn't look cool on very fair, cool skin. The smooth texture is a dream, like a balm; the formula is very nice.
