[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There's great sillage, decent longevity and a drydown that keeps you sniffing your wrist for more.
The opening is very syrupy and fruity due to the honey, plum and rhubarb but the amber & vanilla come through very quickly on my skin. The plum and rhubarb work expertly together, producing a sweet, fresh, almost spicy tone. The sweetness of the plum is an expert balance to the slight bitterness of the rhubarb.
The patchouli adds some depth in the background of all the sweet notes.
It mixes with vanilla and resin in the drydown, which, instead of overpowering or changing the scent, work to enhance the plum and rhubarb combination, adding more depth and intrigue.
Highly recommended.
