Directions
Shake very well before use to allow powder ingredients to be evenly distributed.
With eyes and mouth completely closed, mist face evenly while holding bottle 10-12 inches away from face.
Reapply as needed to mattify or reset makeup.
Spray bottle can go anywhere and can be used anytime of the day.
Spray before makeup to create a smooth and matte surface.
Spray over makeup to set.

I have always used this and never had a problem with it until now, the last one I purchased is absolutely awful. I don't know what Mac have done to it but no matter how much I shake it, turn it upside down etc I still leaves white spots all over my face !!

Setting spray
Tryed this for the first time on one side of my face I had loads of white spots from the spray don't no if I'm doing anything wrong but had to redo my make up .

Works great on my oily skin
Despite the reviews, this is a great product for my oily skin, especially on tzone areas. I love the quick dry finish and as long as you shake the product before spraying and clean the nozzle, you avoid any residue build up that some customers have experienced. Overall, worth the money in my own opinion.

Leaves white marks
I can't actually use this product, because even following all the instructions, it dries to leave little white spots on my skin, ruining my makeup. I'm a MAC NC42, so maybe this will work for really pale skin types. But not for me. Definitely do not recommend, especially if you have tanned or dark skin.

Leaves white spots - hard to wipe off
True to the other reviews, this product leaves a spray of white marks on the face which are then really hard to wipe off without wiping/ smudging make-up. Tried to spray it from different distances but the same result. Quite expensive for something that clearly is faulty. Don't recomment it!

Sadly disappointed
I also found the very unattractive white spots on my face after applying this spray, which I managed to rub off with cotton buds. Shook the bottle really well and applied at arms length. I have never posted a review before as always happy with Mac products. I usually put a finishing powder on to set my face and will continue to do that.Sadly this prep and prime will go in the bin.
