Directions
Suggested Usage:
-Prep Laura Mercierís Velour Puff (sold separately) by massaging Translucent Loose Setting Powder into the puff, folding both halves together
-Tap the powdered side on the back of your hand to remove excess.
-Fold the puff in half and gently press and roll the puff onto skin to set your makeup. Around the eyes, use Laura Mercierís Secret Brightening Powder for Under Eyes (sold separately).
-Focus on the areas where makeup breaks down the most.
-Apply after any creamy formulas, including cream blush.
-Tip: Renowned Makeup Artist Laura Mercier uses it to set foundation and prolong its wear. She applies it after foundation and concealer, and before applying powder-based color. As an added benefit, it eases the application of powder blush or bronzer.

Despite the hype, not for me...beware the yellow!
This might have a cult following but to be honest I couldn't get on with this. After hearing rave reviews and seeing it everywhere online I took the plunge...I'm fair skinned and don't wear much makeup on the daily. Wanted this to extend my coverage as I'm an oily skinned gal. It could very well have been my application technique but it just looked flat and cakey and even the translucent shade had a colour which was too yellow and didn't work for my skin tone. Sad but not for me!

NOT PALE GIRL FRIENDLY
Want to start off by saying the finish on this is gorgeous. However, I’m as pale as they come being Scottish. I’m aggressively white. When this powder said translucent I expected it to really be translucent however it turns my pale foundation yellow. Since it was so expensive I have to commit to using it however I’d never buy this again

Best powder ever
I have used many powders in my lifetime, both drugstore and high end ones, but this one is hands down the best powder I’ve ever used. It’s incredible, every pore you have is minimized and it gives such an effortless and airbrushed look that no other powder does!

I really like this powder! I have acne prone oily skin and it helps to keep the shine away without clinging to or highlighting texture. Definitely one of the better loose powders I have tried. You get so much product in the pot as well.
