Introducing a new olfactory family, Kilian Hennessy pays tribute to his heritage, as heir to the renowned French Cognac-making family, and to his choice of olfactory intoxicants for driving the night towards dawn.

The result of a first-time collaboration with French perfumer Benoist Lapouza, Angel’s Share is Kilian Hennessy’s most personal fragrance creation yet, inspired by his eighth-generation inheritance of Hennessy savoir-faire in the production of Cognac.

The perfume Angels' Share contains the essence of Cognac derived from the liquor to lend it a natural caramel colour. Opening with cognac oil in a blend of oak absolute, cinnamon essence and tonka bean absolute, the scent’s long-lasting notes of sandalwood, praline and vanilla make for a delicious finish, a rare concoction only angels should experience.

On initial spray you get the booze oozing through with cinnamon, sandalwood and a creamy vanilla. The booze will settle down into the background on dry down, and you get a cinnamon apple vanilla woody scent that throws the booze back to the forefront now and again. I would say it's an autumn/winter scent. I absolutely love this fragrance. It is definitely unisex and you feel like perfume royalty wearing this. It's so unique I am yet to smell anything like it. The longevity is amazing, you will smell it on your skin the next day. This is highly recommended by me. The bottle is a beautiful piece of artwork.

I never buy on a first meeting, I always try a few times and have a ponder. I'd mentioned in conversation and it came as a wonderful surprise to receive it as a Christmas gift. I have a few amazing go to fragrances and this is sitting in first place. It's incredibly addictive and I've tried over the last month or so to brush past it in my drawer and give something else a chance but it easily wins me over. I'm always being complimented when others come close and it lasts for so long on my skin.
