Lovely shampoo makes hair so shiny !
This is a beautiful shampoo, have been using Kerastase for years and this is by far the best shampoo if your hair needs a shine. It also makes your hair feel soft, I also would love them to make a mask as have always found the Kerastase masks excellent.

My favourite shampoo
I’m in love with this shampoo. I’ve used a lot of different Kerastase shampoos and that one it’s my favourite. My hair are soft, shiny and smell lovely after using it. Also I’m using the shampoo along with the conditioner.

Kerastase Gloss Absolu Line
As a male with wavy–curly, fine hair, I’ve spent years searching for products that could give me definition without weighing my hair down, moisture without greasiness, and shine without looking oily. I’ve tried countless shampoos, conditioners, and treatments — but nothing has come close to the Kérastase Gloss Absolu line.
From the very first use, I noticed how lightweight yet deeply nourishing the products felt. The ingredients in this line have made a huge difference for my hair. The amino acids and nourishing emollients helped bring out a level of curl definition I didn’t think my fine hair could achieve, and the hydration is noticeable without leaving any film or heaviness. My waves look smoother and more controlled, but still natural.
What really surprised me is the moisture balance. My hair usually gets frizzy if a product is too light and limp if it's too rich — but this line hits the perfect middle ground. My curls feel soft, hydrated, and healthy all day. And the shine is unreal: not glossy in an artificial way, but a clean, healthy brightness that makes my texture look its best.
After years of experimenting, I can honestly say no line has transformed my hair like this. If you have wavy or curly fine hair and you’ve struggled to find something that enhances your natural texture without weighing it down, the Kérastase Gloss Absolu line is absolutely worth it.
I wouldn’t mind having the shampoo, conditioner, and the leave-in Glazing Milk sent to me as a gift — but I digress. I suppose I’ll just have to muster up the courage and pay the high price myself. Honestly, it’s probably worth it anyway.

Not for me
I so wanted to love this range but I didn't. It definitely tames the frizz, but it also left my copious fine wavy hair flat, limp, and totally lacking in body. On the plus side it smells absolutely gorgeous and I needed to wash my hair less often.

Itchy Scalp
I was so excited to try this new product. I purchased shampoo & conditioner for myself and a set for my daughter. iTCHY SCALP was incredibly unbearable after the first use. I tried 3 times then gave up. My daughter has developed a rash on the back of her neck. 2 x shampoo and 2 x conditioner now only fit for the bin! Such a waste. I have been using Kerastase Nutritive for 30 years without a problem and more recently the Genesis range as I love the lightness of the shampoo. My adult daughter has been using Kerastase since she was 10 years old. Neither of us have had a problem ever except with Absolu Gloss. I would avoid, mistake was an expensive one. I have written to Kerastase to see how they respond to an allergic reaction to one of their products.
