I'm annoyed that I like it as much as I do.
I'll be upfront, I resisted buying this for ages because the name alone sounds like it's trying too hard. Youth revitalising. For a shampoo. But I'd had good results with other Kérastase products so I talked myself into it, and now I'm annoyed that I like it as much as I do.
It's a thick, pearly shampoo with a scent that I can only describe as expensive. Not perfumey or overwhelming, just that sort of luxurious smell that lingers in your hair for hours after washing. Multiple people have asked me what I'm wearing on days I've used it, and it's the shampoo. Every time.
A small amount lathers well, which I appreciate at this price point. I use about a two pence sized amount for long thick hair and it's enough. It rinses clean without leaving any residue or that squeaky stripped feeling cheaper clarifying shampoos give you. My hair feels soft even before I put conditioner on, which honestly no other shampoo has done for me.
After blow drying, my hair has more shine than usual and feels thicker somehow. Not thicker as in more volume necessarily, but each strand feels stronger and healthier.
The "youth revitalising" claims I take with a pinch of salt. My hair looks good when I use it. Whether it's actually younger in some meaningful way, who knows. I'm not sure what young hair even means. But it does look and feel healthier, and that's enough for me.
Would I call it life changing? No. Would I call it the nicest shampoo I've ever used? Probably, yes. And that's an irritating thing to admit about something this expensive.

Left my hair feeling the best its felt in ages!
Have used Kerastase or many years, decided to try this one and I am so glad I did, my hair looked and felt the best it has for ages, I always thought it felt lovely before but this one stands out above the rest, slightly more expensive but at the moment feels like money well spent!

Best product worldwide
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly this is such an amazing product I am in disbelief at how great it is. My hair loves this and in between wash day I didn’t have any dry scalp and my hair felt clean the whole time. Product actually smells like perfume which is an added bonus. A little shampoo goes a long way and it lathers up really well. I hardly experienced any breakage whilst using as my hair strands felt stronger. It feels like a luxury experience you would get at the salon. So glad I can experience this luxury feeling at home. Used all products within the range so it was wonderful. Thanks

Smells amazing!

I used the shampoo, hair mask and night serum and they have really changed the condition of my hair. It’s shiny, feels stronger and I’ve noticed little hair loss while washing. I highly recommend

Not the biggest fan
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I’m a usually a huge fan of kérastase and was so excited when I got to try this product , firstly as it’s so high end and expensive (especially if buying the set) and since turning 40 my hair has started to thin and feel so different . I’ve been using it now for 2 weeks and generally wash my hair every other day maybe every 3 days if I’m lucky. The shampoo is really thick and lathers well and also smells lovely but I don’t love it! My hair feels super heavy after use and almost like a weird texture almost like a film on it or something. I know it’s only been 2 weeks but so there will be no hair growth as such but I just don’t like the way my hair feels after use. Afraid tiffs one ain’t for me

Instant effect after first use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After just one use, I saw immediate results! My hair was smooth, soft to the touch, and tangle-free. The shampoo foaming very well and smells luxurious, reminding me a bit of my Chanel perfume. It's a pleasure to use and I definitely recommend it to everyone. As for the Kerastase brand, it's my favorite; as always, it never disappoints and is worth the price.

Excellent shampoo
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I truly believe that Kerastase shampoos are the best that money can buy and this one is no different. It’s light in texture, and as with every Kerastase shampoo I’ve tried, it lathers up beautifully into this rich and luxurious lather - I don’t need to use a lot of it either.
It smells really nice, to put it simply - smells expensive.
It cleanses the hair really easily without leaving it dry and tangled and stripped, or weighed down and full of horrible residue - it just makes the hair clean, soft, and ready for conditioning products.
My hair is both dry on the lengths and really greasy on the roots and this shampoo does not exacerbate the dryness or the oiliness, it just gives me nice, clean, balanced and soft hair. I could probably comb through it relatively easily even if I didn’t use any conditioning or detangling product afterwards.
Honestly, you just can’t go wrong with this shampoo. It’s fantastic. Worth the money.
