one of the best purple shampoos I’ve used
The Kérastase Blond Absolu Bain Ultra-Violet Purple Shampoo is honestly one of the best purple shampoos I’ve used for maintaining bright, fresh blonde hair. It tones down brassiness beautifully without leaving the hair feeling dry or stripped, which is something I’ve struggled with using other purple shampoos in the past.
After just one use, my blonde looked cooler, brighter, and much more refreshed, almost like I’d just been to the salon. It helps neutralise yellow tones really evenly while still leaving the hair soft, shiny, and manageable rather than rough or tangled.
The formula feels really luxurious and lathers beautifully, so a little goes a long way. I also love that it doesn’t leave any patchy purple staining on the hair, just a clean, fresh blonde tone. The scent is gorgeous too and gives that proper salon-quality feel.
If you have blonde, highlighted, or bleached hair and want something that keeps brassiness away without compromising the condition of your hair, this is definitely worth it. It’s become a staple in my haircare routine.

Best purple shampoo I’ve tried 🙌
Best purple shampoo I’ve ever used, it works so well, I leave it on for 15-20 mins and only have to do this once every 10 days, it really takes the warmth right out of where my hair transitions from light brown to blonde.

Did the job; just didn’t wow me
I have had this a couple of months and have used it all up. I used it as and when I thought my blonde hair looked brassy. It would definitely get rid of the brassy tones, just not for long (which I’m guessing they don’t) it helped to hydrate my hair and gave it a smooth texture. It’s certainly not the love of l life; I will keep trying other shampoos like this until I found the one. This one was great, just not overly wowed
