Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smoothing that actually smoothes I bought this as a more affordable way to upgrade my hair game from a reputable brand and it's definitely made a difference to my hair. The bristles help to spread the natural oil without making my hair frizz like plastic bristles do, which had always scared me off of these sort of 'smoothing' brushes. As a full disclaimer, I did pull out the longer nylon bristles with a pair of pliers because I don't like to use that material on my hair. But it was a fun few minutes of doing that, so I'm not upset about it at all for the price, but that's why this isn't five stars. If that's not something that bothers you, it'd be a five star!
