Rated 3 out of 5 by from Boosting spray [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The John Frieda Root Booster is an easy to use spray formula, which you spray onto your roots. I used it when wet and then blow dried my hair. I didn't notice much lift or boost at the roots. However, I backcombed my hair at the front and used my fingers to give a little more volume, but it just became quite messy looking. I liked the lightness of the spray and that brushing out my hair was easy and didn't feel like I had product in my hair.

I dont lile the texture it leaves your hair, it may just be because I have fine hair, but it left mine feeling tacky. When I brush it after using it, my hair feels strange. It did lift my roots and give volume, but I really don't like how it made my hair feel. Gain, maybe this is due to my hair being fine. Comes in recyclable packaging too.

I was so excited to try these products from John Frieda. Both products I used on towel dried hair. I made sure I applied them generously on my scalp & around my crown as that’s where it needs volume & lift. I blow dried my hair & styled as normal. The application was easy & I found using these products gave instant lift, volume & hold. The delicate scent is pleasant in both products. My hair felt bouncy and full all day. I also love that they have volumising formula with peptides so great for hair. Would definitely recommend!
