Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible What on earth have you done to the formula? The new product is awful and I won't be buying this again. Left my hair very dry and no hold power at all. Useless. I actually threw out 3 cans which I wish I had not bought. Please bring back the old formula which I used for years.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New formula gives no hold and is useless I have used this product for over 15 years and it has always been my go-to for my frizz-prone fine flyway hair. This new formula just doesn't work. It doesn't give me any real hold and my hair just flies away so it is pointless as a hairspray. Why change the formula to something that doesn't work? Doesn't John Frieda even test their products? I imagine it's all about cost engineering - putting in cheaper ingredients whilst boosting profits. Please look again at your formula otherwise this will be the end of the range as no-one will buy it because it doesn't work.

I feel like I have no hairspray on my hair. Why change something that worked. Very disappointing as I will have to shop elsewhere now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful Used this for 15 or more years, not just the packaging has been changed, the formula has also been changed and not for the better, you have turned this range from one of the best to one of the worst products, does the opposite of what it claims to do, I will be using another brand.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Totally useless I have used this product for many, many years because it worked! Now, with its new formula sadly it is totally inadequate. My hair has gone flat in humidity, it doesn’t hold my style and it smells awful. I have wasted my money buying about a dozen of the new product hoping that my hair would get used to it. That hasn’t worked. I won’t buy it again. Having read a huge amount of bad reviews about this new product hopefully experts at John Frieda can reinstate the original wonderful one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Allergic and ruined a brilliant product. Omg ! What have you done to a brilliant product I’ve only used the new can twice. My head is itching and making my hair feel greasy. The itch is vile. It’s not only my head but spreading to my forehead. Sadly this rebranding has spoilt a fab product. Now to find a replacement. Such a shame as I’ve been using this product for years.

Why on earth change a good product? Sooooo disappointed & will definitely not waste my money buying it again.
