The fragrance is rich and long lasting, with a lovely blend of sweet vanilla warm notes. Its smell elegant and make a choice for evening.I got lots of compliments whenever I wear this fragrance. The bottle also looks amazing.definitely I would recommend.

One of the best aftershave’s in the market. Very long lasting

It has such a distinctive aroma and being the parfum version it lasts all day and into the next day! The packaging and bottle look fantastic and would make for a perfect gift. When I wear this on a night out I get numerous compliments. Has to be in my top five fragrances. Would highly recommend

Great visual addition to my collection and solid date night fragrance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had the chance to try Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male Elixir, which I received for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. Although I originally filmed a detailed unboxing and first impressions video, the Influenster app kept crashing whenever I tried to upload it, and even contacting support didn’t resolve the issue. In the end, I had to settle for sharing photos instead.
First impressions of the bottle were fantastic. The gold design looks brilliant and really pops when displayed with my other fragrances. It keeps that classic Jean Paul Gaultier silhouette but the gold finish gives it a luxurious, premium feel.
The scent itself opens with a fresh burst of mint and lavender, but quickly develops a sweet warmth. Vanilla is the star for me, supported by the honey that adds richness and depth. It carries that unmistakable Jean Paul Gaultier DNA, which I already enjoy.
As it dries down on the skin, it becomes smoother, warmer, and more vanilla-focused. I find the fragrance lingers nicely, and I catch subtle whiffs throughout the day. The performance is strong, with a bold opening and lasting power that goes on for hours. A little goes a long way, so there’s no need for heavy spraying.
In terms of occasions, I see this as more of an evening fragrance – perfect for nights out or date nights, especially in colder months. The sweet, warm profile might be a bit much in hot weather, so I’d use a lighter hand in summer.
Overall, I’m very pleased with Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male Elixir. The bottle presentation is stunning, the scent is warm and inviting, and the longevity is impressive. I particularly enjoy the way the fresh mint and lavender balance the sweet vanilla dry down. While it’s not something I’d reach for every day, it’s a fantastic choice for special evenings.
I’d give it 4 out of 5 stars and recommend it to anyone who enjoys rich, sweet vanilla-forward fragrances with a touch of freshness.

Secret powerhouse of projection
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the bottle arrives it comes nicely packed in a gold tin (looks good but keeps it safe) the first spray was very unexpected as I usually never do a “blind purchase” this is something I had never smelt before… it was absolutely amazing and not only that it seemed to last all day… my wife even said when she had washed my work shirts that she could smell it. Lots of compliments in work also

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having used different Jean Paul for a good number of years I found the older stuff a bit boring and same old stuff until I tried this elixir fruity but still masculine enough to not worry about needing a more musky smell plenty of compliments were given on this smell and has huge lasting smell new addition for daily wear and evening wear a must
