Bought these as my 10 year old GHD originals broke. I dont feel they are as good as my old ones and I was expecting a heat mat to protect furniture but wasn't one in the box, for the price I would expect one.

2nd pair in 10+
I purchased these as my original pair that I had for over 10 years started to make a crackle sound every time I switched them off so thought safer to replace and only wanted exactly the same ones. They seem a lot lighter and not so good quality so don’t expect them to last 10+ years this time and it is now a push on/off button instead of a switch. Heat up super fast and in my opinion even though they have changed from the original ones you can not get better than GHD.

Not as good as my previous GHD’s
I had the same GHD’s for around 11 years so thought it was time to buy some new ones. These I feel aren’t as effective at straightening my hair, I have to go over my hair more times to get the style that I require. They also snag my hair on the ends which shouldn’t happen on freshly cut hair.
