Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent I've tried a lot of eye make up removers, both budget and more expensive, but this is the only one that doesn't leave a film over the eyes or burns the delicate surrounding skin. Excellent at removing make up without having to rub, and you only need a small amount to get everything off. I can't recommend this enough, and wouldn't be without it.

After using a well known brand for eye makeup removal I developed the worst allergic reaction to it that I almost went blind! Years of hospital appointments and tests later concluded that the well known brand was the cause. Since I have been using the EL Gentle Eye Makeup Remover I have not once had any issues. It most definitely is gentle and very effective with removing their Double Wear mascara which is my number 1 mascara. Highly recommend this product, especially if you have sensitive eyes!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good For Sensitive Eyes I wet a cotton pad then apply this on the top and it works well for me. Effective for removal of eyeshadow powder, primer and mascara without any eye irritation. It does not leave a greasy oily residue behind just a well cleansed eye area and feels gentle on the delicate eye contours.

I specifically asked the sales rep for advice regarding which product to buy to remove the Estée Lauder mascara I had bought the previous week. I asked about Take It Away and she said this was better. It is useless on waterproof mascara. A very expensive mistake which has put me off the brand as I feel as though I was mis-sold in order to increase sales of this ineffective product. Very disappointed. I'll probably go back to using my previous brand.
