Directions
Our tip for a subtly structured tan: Apply Bronze Goddess Sun Powder in an Estée Lauder "E" shape. Start at the forehead, glide to the hollow of your cheek and finish at the oval of your face. Repeat on the other side. Finally, lightly powder the bridge of your nose.

I have a fair skintone [lightest shade in foundations] and struggle with bronzer; I have to be very careful with application and blending. The Light shade of Bronze Goddess (they have 4 shades, 2 of which are for deeper skintones) is a soft light tan shade with a gentle satin finish, that gives a seamless non-orange light bronze dusting to my skin. The shade must have some red in it's undertone as it leaves a hint of a red glow after application - sounds iffy, but it does mimic how my skin looks when I've been out in the sun, so it makes the shade look natural. The fact that this bronzer has no shimmer, and isn't too out-and-out warm in tone, also makes this nice for using as a contour powder.
The formula is smooth to apply and work with, it's a long-wearing formula , that looks great after twelve hours of wear. Also worth noting; I've not experienced any transfer - even when caught out in the rain. Whenever I find a bronzer that gives my skin a non-dirty sun-kissed glow, without needing to spend 5 to 10 minutes fussing over my application, I feel as though I have to tell everyone. The powder is very finely milled, so doesn't cake or empathize dry skin.
I'm enjoying using Bronze Goddess enough to say that I'll definitely rebuy it again, despite the price, as I reach for it over most of my past favourite bronzers a lot of time that I wear any makeup. It's so much quicker and easier then trying to make my other bronzers work for me - simply sweep on and go, rather then having to use a clean brush to do the extra blending I used to have to do when wearing any other bronzer.

So disappointed
I chose this bronzer that arrived today thinking it would compliment my EL foundation colour 02 Ecru however I found that it just made my complexion look too insipid. There was no effect from bronzer whatsoever. It was just too light and too yellow toned. Unfortunately I think the Medium may be too dark for my mature skin. There needs to be an in between shade. This has just been a waste of money and should have stuck with what I have used previously from another top brand.

So Disapointed
This arrived today and tried on tonight. I am a mature air skinned lady and wear the Futurist Foundation 02 Ecru. I thought that I would need the light shade however it is so insipid and I can barely see it. I have tried adding another sweep but its still hardly visible and there is certainly no hint of a bronze. I should have sticked with Bobbi Brown!

Buildable bronzer
This is the best bronzer out of all the make up brands that I have used. Depending on how much of the product you apply to your brush, you can get a subtle glow that is perfect for everyday wear, a beautifully bronzed summer goddess or build up your colour for a more dined contour. This bronzer is perfect!

Amazing Product but needs better packaging
I absolutely love this product. Gives me a wonderful glow and is the perfect colour. My only issue is that I'm not even a quarter of the way through this and the hinge on the compact has broken. It is such a shame as I know that Estee Lauder have recently launched the blushers as refills which is so much better for the environment, and the compact is really robust. It maybe shouldn't be as important as it is, but with the hinge completely broken, and me having to work away from home as often as I do, means that this is no longer feasible to take away with me as it goes everywhere in my bag/case and so I will have to look to an alternative brand. Such a shame

Is the shade medium the same as 02 Medium? My current one says 02 Medium on the base of it but struggling to find confirmation this is the correct one!
