Directions
Straightening Wet Hair:
-Start with towel-dried hair.
-Select Wet mode.
-Select maximum airflow and high temperature.
-Lock arms.
-Rough dry the roots.
-Once roots are dry, unlock arms and select desired airflow and temperature.
-Dry and straighten hair from root to tip in sections.
-Once your hair is dry, select Cool mode.
-Set your style with cool air for shiny finish.
Straightening Dry Hair:
-Select Dry mode to touch-up or refresh your style.
-Select desired airflow and temperature.
-Boost mode, the highest heat, is available if required.
-Straighten hair from root to tip in sections.
-Once straightened, select Cool mode and set your style with cool air for shiny finish.

Great product
Great product, I have naturally curly hair and this leaves it straight, sleek and frizz free. Gets easier to use after a couple of uses, as with any product.

Not impressed
I’m so sorry to have to say this but it’s the worst Dyson product I have ever bought! I really don’t like the finish it gives to my hair and it can be awkward to use! Unfortunately I got it from retailer and not direct from Dyson!

Great with both wet and dry hair
While I had expected that the Airstrait would be very good on wet hair, I've been even more impressed by its ability to straighten unruly dry hair as well. It is very useful that it can be used to dry the hair too.
Its appearance is very pleasing and the device is nice and light in the hand due to the separate PRCD.

Quick and effortless when straightening
I have been looking at an Airstrait for a while but already have the Airwrap so couldn’t justify the purchase. I stumbled across a Dyson shop while on holiday and had a go. My hair was dry and had been tied up all day so I thought this would be a good test! I was so surprised with the results. After one pass my hair was smooth with no kinks. That sold it for me and I ordered it online to have it delivered when I returned from holiday.
I love the wet to straight function and it’s so quick and effortless. It leaves my hair smooth and shiny and for me it lasts all day. I use it frequently on dry hair too and I am happy with the results.
It’s a brilliant device although there are some things to note - the adaptor is huge and it is noisy compared to conventional straighteners. For me these haven’t been issues but they may be for someone else.

Great for on the go!!
I bought this as I dont have time to blow dry and then style my hair which can take a very long time with long hair.. so to have the Airstrait which does both together for me is so much easier and convenient. It is also soooo good...leave my hair shiny and looking healthy.
Would defo recommend it always...

Difficult to use and not as effective as promised.
I’m glad I nought this at half price as surplus. This device is cumbersome and difficult to use on oneself. It takes ages to do the job. I had high hopes but disappointed. After a few trials I’m going back to my trusty Dyson hair dryer.

Salon quality blow dry and straighten
My regular straightener broke, so I researched tools that could dry, straighten, and reduce frizz while adding shine. Thanks to a discount code, I bought my first Dyson hair product, and it did not disappoint!When I finished, my hair looked and felt exactly like a professional salon blow-dry. It was completely dry, perfectly straight, and most importantly, not frazzled at all. It felt incredibly smooth, silky, and shiny to the touch. I usually let my hair air-dry because standard hairdryers give me a "clown look," and regular straighteners never delivered that fresh-out-of-the-salon feeling. Not anymore! Now I can get a beautiful, effortless hairdressing look at home. I am absolutely thrilled with this purchase.
