Beste™ No. 9 is formulated at an ideal, non-stripping pH level of 5.5.
Key Ingredients:
- Mild surfactant blend a stack of mild cleansing agents, including coconut-based surfactants rich in fatty acids, that work together to create a gentle lather that effectively dissolves even stubborn makeup, sunscreen and oils while supporting the healthy barrier of skin.
- Virgin marula oil high in critical antioxidants and omegas 6 and 9, this nourishing oil boosts the cleansing and makeup-removal power.
- Glycerin a skin-identical humectant, helps replenish hydration levels that are normally lost in skin during the cleansing process.
- Cucumis melo cantalupensis (cantaloupe) fruit extract rich in antioxidants, helps soothe and hydrate.
Directions
Suggested use:
Squeeze Beste™ No. 9 into palm and gently massage over wet or dry skin. Add water to lather. Rinse well and pat dry. Use nightly or in alternation with the other Drunk Elephant cleansers.
Tip: We recommend skipping the morning cleanse, as it’s not necessary if you’ve cleansed your skin the night before.

Pleasant cleanser
The product has a gel-like, rather thin consistency and is transparent; it is virtually odorless. When it comes into contact with water and is worked by hand, it produces a light lather. During use, the gel feels very gentle and comfortable. It’s easy to apply and spread, and it lathers well.
There is no discomfort, such as burning or irritation-while washing, and no redness occurs. After using the gel, the skin does not feel tight or overly dry. It remains quite comfortable. All in all, it is a very pleasant cleanser.

Gentle, thorough, and refreshing!
I’ve been using this jelly cleanser for a few weeks now and I’m genuinely impressed. It has a nice texture that lathers up softly without feeling heavy or stripping my skin. It removes my daily makeup and sunscreen completely, and leaves zero residue behind, which is a huge plus for my combination skin. Super gentle and doesn’t cause any irritation at all. Definitely a new staple in my routine!

Truly an AMAZING cleanser!
I originally got this as a deluxe sample and quickly fell in love with the texture and how this melts down everything on my skin, leaving my skin clear, clean and hydrated.
This is gentle yet thoroughly cleanses and does so without leaving a residue or a film behind once rinsing.
