The beating heart of the composition, the precious essence of Vietnamese oud – sourced from a Dior supplier that complies with the high standards of traceability and practices – leaves its animalic imprint with leather notes in a chiaroscuro of noble woods.
The dark and enveloping essence of Indonesian patchouli contrasts with the light, creamy essences of Madagascan vetiver and Virginia cedarwood. A sensual and powerful base is contrasted by a fresh and aromatic top accord of bergamot and an essence of AOP lavender from Provence.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Making the decision to purchase Dior's Sauvage Extrait turned out to be one of my best fragrance investments yet, as the entire wear experience feels luxurious and refined from start to finish. A single application on pulse points delivers an incredible opening of smooth lavender and rich woods that easily lasts all day with fantastic projection. Though it comes with a premium price tag, the phenomenal quality and potency offer tremendous value since you only need one or two sprays per wear. It is the ultimate fragrance for a formal occasion, evening event, or date night where you want to leave a lasting, sophisticated impression.

It leaves the original's fresh DNA behind for a dark, ultra-potent mix of smoky Vietnamese oud and heavy cedarwood. One spray easily lasts over 12 hours. It is expensive, but the incredible performance and rich, niche-quality woody profile make it worth it if you love deep, masculine scents. Suitable for any occasion

A traditional masculine scent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The aftershave is strong, but I get more “traditional” scent notes from it, rather than the woody lavender it promises. I can’t comment on the packaging as it was sent in a sample bottle.

Very strong
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very strong fragrance and you will definitely be noticed wearing this. I used just 1 spray and both myself and others could smell it the entire day. I'd say this is best for nights out as it is very strong. The fragrance is warm and spicy with a woody after tone coming through. Very nice but much to strong for me.

Definitely worth getting this if you want a great smelling aftershave that lasts
