Directions
Apply 10-15 sprays to washed, towel-dried hair. Do not rinse, and proceed with styling. It is possible to apply the product as a moisturizing finish, vaporizing it directly on the hands and then distributing it evenly on the hair, if they are particularly dehydrated.

I use would this for the scent alone, even if it did nothing for my hair! The scent seems to be divisive but I absolutely love it, if they made a perfume I would buy it. It lingers in your hair all day so if you don't like it, you're in trouble! Luckily for me, I want to smell like this all the time.
It is brilliant for detangling, softening, conditioning and taming frizz. I find it easier to apply by spraying into my hands and distributing through my hair with my fingers, rather than spraying directly onto my hair. It is quite heavy (I have fine hair) and can weigh down/leave a slight residue if over-used.

Can this be used on dry hair before using straighteners. To protect from heat.
Not sure: I would probably steer away from direct dry heat (such as from straighteners) too close to the application of oil. In other words, let the oil work its nutritive powers on your hair and use the straighteners some time later.
