As it's expensive i have tried many alternatives from many other brands but always come back to buying/ using this one as it effortlessly removes waterproof mascara without damaging/losing lashes. Yes the push down & twist lid is a little tricky and tough like a medicine bottle, but the product works well . You've got to shake the bottle and then tip onto cotton pad at least 3-4 times, press onto lashes for several seconds before sweeping away. No need to rub.

I find it now performs poorly, leaving behind a lot of waterproof mascara on my lashes and a greasy film on my eyelids, though it does work okay for long lasting lipstick. The cap is difficult to open though doesn't seem to be a safety lid.

Are the contents supposed to go back to 50 50% after being shaken? I have a bottle that was completely cloudy when it arrived, several hours later the lower part is 40% clear and the top remains 60% cloudy. Is this how it should be?

Yes it always goes back, you just need to shake it each time before use.

Hi Sunaina, The Clinique Take The Day Off Make-Up Remover for Lids, Lashes & Lips is not recommended to be used on the facial skin. I would recommend using the Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Milk on your skin to remove foundation and then the Lids, Lashes & Lips remover for the rest of the face.
