What It Is:

Skin-repairing night time treatment that helps jumpstart the anti-aging process with the multi-dimensional power of retinol plus comforting hydration.

Directions

How To Use:

Apply pea size amount (0.25g) at night. Avoid eye area. Tip: For first two weeks, use every other night, then nightly. Use sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using and the week after. Do not use with other retinol products, such as Clinique Fresh Pressed™ Overnight Booster with Pure Vitamin A (Retinol).



To help optimize the results of retinol, we suggest using as part of a regimen with other anti-aging products, such as:

- In AM: Clinique Smart™ Custom-Repair Serum + Clinique Smart™ SPF 15 Custom-Repair Moisturizer

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Retinol uglies I must admit that the retinol uglies got me good and proper! I had tried to use this some time ago and gave up when I thought I must have been suffering an allergic reaction. This time, I persevered. The first week, I applied every 3rd night. Again, I suffered from itching, peeling, flaking, and a burning sensation. "Mild irritation", apparently! So, I googled and found some advice about 'sandwiching' between moisturiser. I.e. a layer of moisturiser, the retinol, then moisturiser on top and increased usage to every other night. 4 weeks later and wow! What a difference. I notice a much improved complexion, I look about 10 years younger! I'm not going to lie, there is still some flaking and mild itchiness but, I'm so glad I persevered this time. The results are amazing. I am now confident that the flaking and itchiness will resolve in the next week or two.

I have tried a cheaper retinol product in the past from another brand which didn't have much of an effect so thought a more expensive product might be the solution. I have been using this for a few weeks and I'm amazed with the results. My skin is looking so much clearer and feels loads smoother. I did notice some dry patches so have stuck to alternate nights and in between have been using moisture surge overnight mask. I also made the mistake of not moisturising after using the product and now I've started to do this the flakiness has dried up. It is a bit on the pricey side for the small amount you get so will probably try and buy In conjunction with an offer again but definitely a great product with dramatic effects!
