Apply with a cotton ball, sweeping gently over face and neck.
For external use only. Avoid eye area and lips.

Clear Glowing Skin!
Having used virtually every brand both less and more expensive I have found that CL2 is the absolute best product on the market for my Menopausal skin. My skin has been really "acting out" with painful breakouts. I have used Clinique in the past and cannot remember for the life of me why I stopped!! I was gifted a 3-Step system for my birthday and I haven't looked back. Thank you Clinique for giving my my confidence back!

Smooth and refreshed
Having never been a fan of scrubs, I've relied on Clarifying Lotions for exfoliation since I was 14 (battling very oily skin and acne) and I'm now 41 (no major skin issues). I've tried all the various CL throughout my life. The only caveat is that the best CL may not be the one recommended to you based on how oily/dry you are. You need really know what ingredients work for your skin. CL 1.0 is the only option with no alcohol, so choose that one if you know your skin reacts poorly to alcohol, whether or not you think you have "very dry, sensitive skin." CL 2 is the only formulation with no Salicylic Acid. It relies instead on Acetyl Glucosamine to polish surface of your skin instead of penetrating pores like salicylic acid does. IMO the best one is CL1. It has Salicylic Acid + Acetyl Glucosamine, and skin hydrators like Trehalose and sodium hyaluronate to 'buffer' the effects of exfoliation, all in a Low-alcohol package. I would recommend CL1 as first choice for all skin types, and CL1.0 if you find CL1 drying.

Disappointing
I recently purchased this Clarifying Lotion as part of your 3 Step regime. Unfortunately I developed red marks on my face about the size of a fingerprint. This was especially surprising as I had used this product previously for 12 years without a problem.

Too harsh for my skin
This product is far too harsh for my skin, which is dry and sensitive. After a week of using it daily, I had what looked like an outbreak of acne on my cheeks, my face felt tight, and the clarifying lotion began to sting when I put it on. I have gone back to the Redness Solutions products and my skin feels and looks much better.

I just love it! BEST EVER
I started using clinique products 4years ago when a friend swore buy it. I was always changing to different makes of exfoliation, cleansing etc. My friend bought me the trial size pack to try it and I absolutely love it. Iv got combination skin but using the 3 step treatment everyone comments on my skin. I even had a hormonal breakout and after 3 days it totally cleared up. So impressed with this and it last ages. You really do only need a little, I got the largest bottle 400ml in May last year and still have a little bit left. I use it twice daily. Highly recommended especially now im 40. Now im using a lot more clinique products especially the foundation and powder. Ur makeup even lasts longer as you you use next to nothing after uv cleansed ur face. I will always stick with this uts a winner
