Rated 1 out of 5 by from So upset This has been my summer perfume for 40 years. People notice. I've been chased in the street in Spain to ask what it was. Friends tell me it's my smell. Found a good offer on the body smoother recently bought 4 tubes and realised the smell has changed completely. What little smell there is is just fusty. Horrible. So upset.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the same I was looking forward to reacquainting with Aromatics Elixir, a perfume I used years ago. What an utter disappointment, it is not the same perfume. The bouquet has changed and the longevity is poor, it's practically nonexistent. It disappeared within an hour of applying it. Sadly, I will not be purchasing a second time.

The other week I thought I'd just have a quick spray as I was walking past the Clinique counter. For days afterwards I would get a wonderful waft of the unique Aromatics scent. I purchased a bottle and wasn't disappointed. I don't know if the formula has been updated or not but it seems more like the Aromatics of old. It's wonderful to have my signature scent back!

I to have worn this once gorgeous perfume for over 30 years. Its the end of an era for me & im so sad. It now has the aroma of an old out of date perfume & has no longevity to it. Its just like spraying smelly water??

The packaging was the same but when I tried the perfume I immediately thought I had purchased a FAKE. Nothing about this perfume was the same. I have used this perfume for at least 30 years and have had so many compliments, but this bears no resemblance to the original. It doesn't have the same rich tones and undertones and it lasts less than an hour. I have a tiny amount of the original left and I am treating it like gold. For very special occasions only!!
