Inspired by the birthplace of Chloé founder Gaby Aghion, Nomade Lumière d'Égypte Eau de Parfum takes us on a journey along the Nile, along which the majestic blue lotus flower grows. This day-blooming native waterlily unfurls at first light and closes in the afternoon, while emitting a soft floral scent.
THE SCENT Opening with notes of blue lotus accord, this Chloé perfume emits aquatic and airy floralcy at the top, while sensual jasmine reveals a captivating and velvety warmth. To ground the scent, pink berry fuses with elemi essential oil to unveil notes of kyphi accord – a nod to ancient Egyptian perfumery. Building from the Nomade Nuit d'Égypte fragrance, here the kyphi accord is a bespoke blend of cinnamon bark, sandalwood and myrrh that completes this luminous perfume for women. To create Nomade Lumière d'Égypte, Cécile Matton took inspiration from the magical landscapes of Egypt, from the cooling waters of the Nile and the lush vegetation growing along its banks, to the heat of the desert beyond. Each is illuminated by the Egyptian sunlight, beautifully reflected in this latest chapter of the Chloé nomade story.

Chloe is not a brand I have previously purchased fragrances from, but I will definitely be doing so in the future after such a surprise with this perfume.
I tested the Lumiere D’Egypte fragrance.
Starting with the packaging, I thought the box it came in and the bottle itself had a great theme. I love the tie rope around the neck of the bottle and the matching rope pattern around the box. The rope being in an earthy blue shade against the gold bottle detail just screams luxury and that it was.
The scent of this perfume was rich, musky, but also floral and warm. I usually go for sweet perfumes so this was a nice surprise, it smells divine.
I’ve had many compliments since wearing this fragrance, as it sits nicely on the skin and lasts all day.
The price point for this perfume is also such good value for money that I will not hesitate to purchase again.

Love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised. The description mentions base notes of floral scent but I can’t smell this at all. It has a very strong smell with Egyptian notes. I didn’t think I would like the scent, but after wearing it for a day or two I really began to like the scent!
It lasts a long time on fabric but not so long on skin. If I put it on in the morning, I could barely smell it on myself by lunchtime.
Lovely plain yet simple design.
It’s a lovely scent for someone wanting a change from a standard floral delicate scent but still not wanting to depart too far into the unknowns!

Long lasting floral smell
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has an intense smell that is long lasting throughout the day. Spraying on both wrists was a bit too strong for me but small amounts were a lot nicer. It has quite a floral smell which I don't normally go for but I found rather nice and quite decadent. The bottle itself is pretty and easy to carry around in a clutch

Gorgeous scent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually love Chloe fragrances and this one is no exception. You only need a few sprays and it lasts all day. I’ve received many compliments. It smells luxurious and elegant. The only aspect I was not keen on was whilst I like the bottle shape, the tassel attached to the bottle gets in the way so you have to hold it aside to spray. No criticism of the perfume itself though, it is gorgeous.
