Disappointing.
Have used this shampoo along with the conditioner for a couple of weeks and my hair is getting dryer and dryer. It doesn't lather well and feels difficult to get a good clean. My hair is super knotty afterwards and almost impossible to brush through. Can't see any evidence of those beach waves.

Does what it says on the tin
Smells great, cleans well. Doesn’t really moisturise hair so definitely need to use a decent conditioner afterwards. 4 stars really only because slightly overpriced for what it is but I have been using it for years and will continue to do so, so would definitely recommend.

Overpriced and underwhelming
I'd heard a lot of hype about Bumble & Bumble but sadly this shampoo did not meet expectations. I found it very drying; even when partnered with lots of the corresponding conditioner my hair felt brittle and rough. Have switched brands and my hair is back to normal again.

Good for texture
I have very thin hair, and use the surf spray a lot to add body and texture to my hair. I really like this shampoo, but it can leave my damaged hair feeling a little unmanageable sometimes. Always use with the conditioner, and if you have particularly thin hair, I'd skip this and use the surf spray instead.

Bumble and bumble conditioner
Having been budgeting on shampoo and conditioner for the last year, I thought I'd try a sample of the surf shampoo and conditioner. The difference in distance between the budget brand and this is a thousand miles or a trip to the north shore of Australia. It is so luxurious, well worth it for a nice treat for yourself or a gift. Will definitely upsize.
