Hmmm I see why it was reduced
This isn't very nice. The scent and lingering sticky texture (sticky not moisturising or shiny) just isn't as good as the moisturising or strengthening versions from Aveda. I'm glad I bought it at a hugely discounted price, otherwise I'd have returned it because it just isn't at the standard of other similar Aveda products and I think they know the issues and that's why it was reduced so much.
(I have dry curls and this does nothing more to aid smoothing than any other product at all)

Truly awful
I've used the smooth infusion styling crËme for years but as it was discontinued I bought this instead. It went on ok but after styling and drying my hair it felt oddly soft and fluffy, not a great look. By the time my hair was dry it looked like candy floss! Truly terrible. It also felt dull, lifeless and like I wanted to wash it again. Please please bring back the original formula, it was an icon!

I eventually got round to trying this after using up the wonderful Glossing Straightener, which I had stocked up on, knowing it was being discontinued (shame!). My hairdresser told me she didn't like Perfectly Sleek very much, and she was right - it doesn't rub smoothly onto the hair, and as another reviewer has said, it leaves your hair feeling like it needs washing. I am not even bothering to use it up - I will switch to another product. A waste of money, I'm afraid.

I bought this product as a replacement for the smooth infusions nourishing styling crËme which has unfortunately been discontinued. This new product is nothing like it and leaves a sticky residue, making my hair feels like it needs washing.

Awful product 0 stars, this was recommended to me by a aveda as a replacement for the glossing straightener (discontinued for some reason) and it doesn't compare in the slightest. Makes hair feel heavy and hard to comb. Save your money.

Sticky and unpleasant
This is not the product it was! Previously it was a smooth, creamy product with a lovely scent which did the job perfectly. The new formula is unpleasant to use, and made my hair sticky. I won't be buying it again.
