Firstly I do have sensitive undereye skin but this is said to be suitable for all skin types, and I have tried a huge range of eye creams including retinol ones. The cream itself is light but very hydrating, I used it for a week at first exclusively to try it out. At the end of the week my undereyes were slightly puffy and puffiness is not usually an issue for me. The most noticeable difference was I now had very purple undereye circles much worse than usual. I stopped using the cream and have now restarted to use it multiple times but each time my undereye looks the same. I persevered with using it as it’s so expensive but it never improved and I then noticed my fine lines were getting worse also, it’s just not as good as my usual eye cream in terms of results. There is something in the ingredients that is not suitable for sensitive skin. I’m so disappointed it’s bad enough if an expected cream does nothing but to worsen dark circles it’s supposed to improve is not good enough. If you have sensitive skin definitely try a sample or just avoid it. Also the refill works fine on its own it just doesn’t stand up.
